MM2 Legendary Values
Legendary is the red tier just under godly. It is where most players start trading, and a pile of them can become your first godly.
What legendary means
Legendary is the red rarity tier. It sits between rare and godly, and there are several dozen legendary knives and guns, plus a few pets. They are the best thing an ordinary box gives with any regularity.
How to get a legendary
- Boxes. Most boxes hold a legendary at a few percent. In the 2026 Halloween Box, Embergun drops at 4 percent, and in Knife Box 2 the legendary Overseer drops at 5 percent.
- Crafting. 12 rare items craft into a random legendary.
- Event rewards, bundles and giveaways. Latte (2023) came from the Thanksgiving 2023 bundle, and Bunnies from collecting eggs at Easter 2025.
The most valuable legendaries
Latte (2023) and Latte (2023) lead with 140. After them come Spectral (2021) and Traveler (2023), then Aurora (2021) and Vampire (2022). Most legendaries are worth far less than any godly, so the list drops off fast.
Many names carry a year in brackets. The year separates items that share a name: Aurora (2021) and Vampire (2022) are not the other years' versions. Check the year before you accept.
Trading legendaries up
People constantly ask how to turn legendaries into a godly: "I'm level 500 and still no godly, I have five legendaries". The honest answer is that legendaries are small coins. Add up the values, and expect to need several of them to match one cheap godly. Look in the godly list for a low-priced one with steady demand and offer legendaries that are in demand themselves.
I would not give away a high-value legendary for a godly nobody wants, just to have a godly.
