What vintage means

Vintage is the yellow rarity tier, formerly called Classic. It holds the weapons from the first Murder Mystery game, and there are only about ten of them: knives like Blood, Ghost, Shadow and Prince, and guns like America, Laser, Phaser and Cowboy.

Nobody can buy a vintage in the shop, and you cannot salvage one for materials. The only way to own one is a trade.

Why vintage is cheap

The rarity colour is high, but the numbers on the board are small. Blood and Ghost are the top of the tier at 8, and the guns sit lower: America is 7.5.

This is a classic case of rare and valuable being different things. Few people want old, plain-looking weapons from a game that most players never saw. Demand is what sets the price, and the demand for vintage is mostly collectors. If you have one in your inventory, it is a nice thing to own, but it will not buy a godly.

Trading vintage

Because the supply is fixed and nobody can make new ones, vintage values move slowly. That is useful: a vintage will not crash during an event the way a new godly does. Use it as a small, stable part of an offer rather than the main piece.

Check the exact name before you trade. The 2026 Retro Bundle added modern weapons with old names, such as Golden (2026) and Ghost (2026), and they are not vintage.

Who wants a vintage

Mostly collectors, and players who like the history of the game. These weapons were sold in the Murder Mystery 1 shop, and they have not been sold since. That is a good story and a poor currency. If you want to turn one into a godly, plan for a long wait for the right buyer, and be ready to accept that the list value is the ceiling.

Check the tier colour on the item page: vintage is yellow. If the tier says anything else, you are looking at a different weapon.
