MM2 Chroma Values
Chromas are the shimmering versions of godly weapons and the most expensive thing most players will ever trade. Current values, odds and trade warnings.
What a chroma is
A chroma is a colour-shifting version of a godly weapon. Since Season 1, every event box has a chroma of its own godly, and the chance is tiny. In the 2026 Halloween Box and the 2026 Summer Box the chroma drops at 0.004 percent, which is about one in 25,000, against 0.2 percent for the plain godly.
That gap explains the prices. A chroma is usually worth many times the godly it comes from, and the best ones are the biggest tradable numbers in the game.
The top chromas right now
- Chroma Traveler's Gun: 140,000
- Chroma Evergun: 48,000
- Chroma Evergreen: 33,500
- Chroma Bauble: 29,000
- Chroma Constellation: 26,500
- Chroma Vampire's Gun: 24,750
- Chroma Alienbeam: 23,500
Notice that almost all of them come from 2023 to 2025 event boxes and gifting rewards that are gone. A chroma from a box you cannot open anymore has a fixed supply, and that holds the price up.
Old chromas are a special case
Chromas from 2018 and 2019 lost value after the Duping Glitch of 2019, and later copies appeared after the 2021 and 2022 glitches. If you meet a very old chroma, check the value on the item page rather than assuming it is worth a fortune. Some are now cheap, and a duped one sells for less than the same item that was never copied.
The gap between chromas is huge: Chroma Luger, from a basic gun box, sits at 49, and the crafted Chroma Seer at 26.5.
Ancient weapons can be chroma now
Halloween 2026 brought something new: Chroma Emberbow and Chroma Emberscythe, the first chromas among ancient weapons. Their numbers will settle over the next weeks, so I would not decide anything on day one.
Trading chromas safely
The most common scam is the last-second swap: the chroma in the window turns into the plain version right before accept. Wait until the timer finishes, look at the name, and never accept at the very moment the other person asks you to add something. A second trick is trading from an alt, so check the username.
Questions players ask
What is the most expensive chroma?
At the moment it is Chroma Traveler's Gun with 140,000. The ranking can move, so open the table sorted by value.
What are the odds of a chroma from a box?
In the 2026 Halloween and Summer boxes it is 0.004 percent. Each box shows its odds, and you should read them before you pay.
Are old chromas worth more?
Not always. Many 2018 and 2019 chromas fell in value after dupe glitches. Age alone does not decide the price.
How do I avoid chroma scams?
Check the item name and the player's username right before accept, wait for the timer, and trade only on trade servers with a person you can see.
