MM2 Pet Values
Pets are cosmetic companions you can trade like weapons. Their values follow different rules than knives and guns, and rarity colour tells you little.

What pets are
Pets are small cosmetic companions. They do not change how a round plays, and you can trade them just like a knife or a gun. Pets have the same colour tiers, from common to godly, plus chroma versions.
Most pets came from events or crates that no longer exist. The Pet Box was removed in the Season 1 update, and many event pets from 2018 to 2021 were tier rewards. Elitey still comes with the Elite game pass.
Values do not follow the colour
This is the part that confuses new players. At the top of the pet list you will find Zombie Dog (738), a common pet from the 2019 Halloween pass, and Elf (2019) (638). Next come Black Cat and Blue Pumpkin (2018).
Meanwhile the godly Fire pets, such as Fire Cat and Fire Fox, are worth a few units each, and the chroma versions, Chroma Fire Cat and its siblings, only a little more. They came out of common eggs in 2019, so the pink name was never a sign of scarcity.
My reading is supply and demand: the list is driven by how many people want a pet, not by its colour. Event pets that collectors chase hold their value better than pets handed out from eggs.
How to trade pets
Pets are small money. Their numbers are low next to a godly weapon, so they work as a sweetener in an offer, not the main part. The usual pet trade is one pet for another of a similar value.
Do not trade a weapon worth hundreds for a pet because the name sounds rare. Open the item and read the value.

What is the most valuable pet?
Right now Zombie Dog leads the list. The order can change, so sort the table by value.
Why is a common pet worth more than a godly pet?
Because value follows demand, not the colour of the name. A sought-after event pet can beat a godly pet that came out of a common egg.
How do I get a pet?
Pets come from events, game passes and old crates. The shop Pet Box is gone.
Do chroma pets exist?
Yes, there are several, for example Chroma Fire Bat.
